Maverick has been working in the disability sector since 2016, is the Director of My Right 2 Voice, and registered as a Behaviour Support Practitioner [Specialist] with the NDIS. He started by volunteering at day programs, and the commenced working in houses, community participation, and other spaces while completing the Bachelor of Psychological Science at LaTrobe University. He completed majority of a Master's in Clinical Neuropsychology (incomplete) before focusing on being a Tutor and Lecturer at LaTrobe University and commencing employment as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Undergraduate degree with Honors. Throughout this period of time, Maverick noticed that the standard of supports in the disability sector were not at the level they should be, and the change in the sector was limited. Because of this he started the company My Right 2 Voice while continuing to be a guest Lecturer at LaTrobe University. Since his time at the Department, Maverick has provided Supervision to multiple practitioners in the Behaviour Support field and has provided multiple live workshops to schools, government agencies, health organisations, and disability support companies in a variety of different professional areas.

In addition to Behaviour Support and University Tutoring and Lecturing, Maverick also has a qualification in ASDAN Education, has been coaching high level basketball throughout his adulthood, and loves seeing others grow. He is committed to promoting inclusivity, accessibility, understanding, and growth within the sector for all.
